LHENA Small Sums Grant
The Lowry Hill East Neighborhood Association (LHENA) Small Sums grant is intended to help Wedge residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with immediate needs.

Guidelines and eligibility requirements:
- The application deadline is July 22nd at 5pm
- Limit one application per household.
- Applicants must live in the Lowry Hill East (aka “the Wedge”) neighborhood. The geographic boundaries are Hennepin Ave to the west, Lyndale Ave to the east, and Lake St to the south.
- Applications will be reviewed after the deadline and are subject to approval and available funds. If awarded a Small Sums grant, you will receive a check for $250.
- Priority will be given to people who identify with the following communities: BIPOC, Disability, LGBTQ+, Renter.
- The LHENA Small Sums grant is made possible by the Minneapolis Foundation and our generous individual donors.
- We capped the funding award at $250 to include as many households as possible. This amount is also under the threshold for 1099 taxable reporting.
- We do not share information about applicants or recipients unless we have specific permission from the applicant to share their story with the public.
