Updates, history, and content from neighbors in and around the Wedge
Wedge residents Kari Johnson and Karlee Weinmann had an idea: to conduct large-scale, non-partisan outreach to activate and engage the neighborhood through voter registration and education.
They pitched their idea to LHENA and received modest funding to help their efforts. After weeks of organizing, dozens of new voters are now registered and volunteers have helped educate hundreds of Wedge residents and business owners about the November 6th election through a lawn sign campaign, old-fashioned door knocking, and community gatherings. Thank you to Kari, Karlee, and all the volunteers who are helping build a more civically engaged neighborhood. Comments are closed.
