Zoning & Planning Walking Tour

Please join our Zoning and Planning Committee out on the street for a Walking Tour on August 19th. The group will meet at Wedge Point Park at 6:30pm and go from there. This event is intended to get neighbors outside and build stronger relationships with each other and our spaces by provide a dynamic environment for neighbors to engage around important projects underway. Please bring your roommate, your neighbor, and your water bottle!

Route with agenda notes:
6:30: Meet at Wedge Point Park
-Discuss the potential of a Community Garden and the Wedge “Gateways”.
Walk to 2003 Aldrich
-Review the land use application and the specifics of the approved variances for this development.
Travel west on Franklin
-Discuss the City’s proposed design changes.
Travel south on Hennepin
-Deeper dive and discussion about the different proposals put forward by the City and the effects each would have on the character of Hennepin.
Tour ends at 2841 Hennepin via Girard
-Discuss the development and potential Girard Pocket Park
