 Last chance this round to comment on initial concept designs for Mueller Park! The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) recently published two initial proposals for the future Mueller Park (see .pdf below). MPRB has generously offered those of us in the Wedge a meeting to provide feedback on the two proposals before the design team drafts updated concepts. Please come Monday, April 29th to see the plans and share your comments. Our representative from the MPRB will be available from 6:00PM – 7:30PM. Mueller Park Comment Session Monday, April 29th 6-7:30pm 2744 Lyndale Ave S Agenda: 6:00 – 6:30 Review Plans and talk to park representatives 6:30 – 7:00 Overview of process for park redesign and group discussion 7:00 – 7:30 Park representatives available for questions and feedback.

I prefer A--I like the full basketball court in A, and the rest of the plan looks good, too. In B I find it hard to picture a wooded ramble that would be large/dense enough to really be a wooded ramble. And if it did succeed in being that, I imagine security problems, overnight or otherwise.
