It is completely unacceptable to hold this meeting on Yom Kippur. I understand that is because it needs to happen in advance of a committee meeting that is scheduled for the next day. But if that’s the case, then they both need to be rescheduled. You can’t just ram this though by making sure a large portion of the homeowners and business owners in the neighborhood cannot attend because they are observing one of the most important religious holidays of the year! Would you hold this meeting on Easter Sunday if the committee on a whole meeting was set for the next day? Both meetings need to be rescheduled.
