You’re invited to be an interactive community expert! Join us in a one-day event elevating student voices and creating inter-generational dialogue within our community. IT'S FREE TO ATTEND AND OPEN TO ALL - REGISTER TODAY ON EVENTBRITE TO SAVE YOUR SEAT! Ella Baker Inclusive Playground student leaders and World Savvy (the school's magnet curriculum partner) are hosting a community learning event on Tuesday, November 4 from 9 am to 2:30 pm At the Changemaker Hub, students and adults will learn together about inclusive and accessible play spaces, and be equipped to share their learnings with their communities when they leave. This event is funded by the Partnership Engagement Fund Grant, and we would love for you to see this funding in action! If you are interested in attending, please register (for free!) on Eventbrite. Lunch is included; please let us know about any dietary accommodations we can provide. ABOUT: Changemaker Hubs by World Savvy are immersive, day-long experiences that bring students, educators, leaders, and community members together as equals. Students share their lived experiences and aspirations for education. Adults listen, reflect, and join in dialogue. The result is a shared vision for schools that are more relevant, inclusive, and connected to civic life. When: Tuesday, Nov 4 (Election Day!) from 9 AM to 2:30 PM FREE LUNCH is included. We exists to provide a structure for neighborhood leadership and participation, facilitate the equitable sharing of resources, and advance a vision for the neighborhood. This event is organized with the support of a 2025 Partnership Engagement Fund (PEF) grant from the City of Minneapolis Neighborhood & Community Relations department.
