On May 20th the LHENA board will vote whether or not to reallocate Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) funds to help support COVID-19 relief efforts here in our neighborhood.
The proposal: Reallocating $8,750 from LHENA's COPSIRF strategy into a new COVID-19 relief effort strategy. The public is welcome to join the (virtual) board meeting. Want to play a role in your neighborhood?
Two board members will be appointed to serve out the remainder of the current term, which will conclude once a new date is set for the 2020 board election. Although this appointment will likely only be for for a few months, the projects neighbors are currently engaged in are of great importance. This would be a great way to test the waters and gauge if serving on the neighborhood board for a full term is something you would be interested in. More info and apply at thewedge.org/election. The LHENA board of directors will convene on Wednesday, April 15th for its monthly board meeting. The board traditionally does not meet in April on account of our annual neighborhood-wide meeting, but in lieu of its postponement the board will instead convene to conduct its monthly business. LHENA Board Meeting Wednesday, April 15th 6:30-8:30pm Virtual Draft agenda attached below. LHENA board meetings are public. Even though we are meeting virtually, you can still join us.
