LHENA has postponed/canceled all public events and meetings through at least April 17, but its board of directors will still convene for its monthly meeting this Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30pm. However, we will be doing so virtually. Since these meetings are public, anyone may join the virtual meeting via the following:

As of March 12th, LHENA will make major changes to ensure we do our part to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All LHENA public events and meetings through April 17th will be postponed/canceled until further notice. Here's what this means:

• LHENA will not be closed, but staff will primarily conduct their work remotely. 
• The March 18th board meeting will be conducted digitally. Since this is a public meeting, we will promote a link for anyone to join. Details to come. 
• The April 15th Neighborhood Annual Meeting is postponed until further notice.  
• April committee meetings are cancelled. Committee chairs have the discretion to conduct work with their committees digitally in the meantime. 
• The April 1st Neighborhood Night at LynLake Brewery is postponed.

LHENA staff and executive committee will discuss how to proceed in terms of our 2020 board elections, rescheduling the Annual Meeting, and other uncertainties. We will reassess the situation the first week of April to determine how to proceed with public events and meetings for late April and beyond. 

This is an unprecedented situation and these decisions were especially difficult considering that bringing people together is the nature of our work. As leaders of this neighborhood, it is our responsibility to make the best decisions possible for the health and safety of the people in this community.
