Crime & SafetyThe Crime and Safety Committee meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the LHENA office, Room 107 of Jefferson School, 1200 W. 26th St. This committee deals with crime and safety concerns raised by the neighborhood. Members of the police department usually attend to report on crime trends and address questions. A link to the Minneapolis Police webpage that displays weekly crime maps for the 5th Precinct is to the left.There is also a link to the web page of the weekly Minneapolis Police Crime & Arrest Statistics (including a chart) to the left.Click on "Forms to Report Crime" to get an on-line form to report impacts of criminals to your block or neighborhood .Click on the "Stop Graffiti" sign to get an on-line form to report existing graffiti. Call 911 immediately if you see graffiti "artists" in the act.
